Error installing - Another installation is in progress

If you get the following error on Windows:

Another installation is in progress. You must complete that installation before continuing this one.

Here are the steps to fix:

  1. Restart your computer.
  2. Wait a minute after you've logged in.
  3. Check in task manager if there is a process called "msiexec.exe" running. Kill it. Try to run the installer.
