Stuck setting up Filteronme on Mac - Reinstall camera extension
Sometimes the Filteronme extension doesn't get installed properly and can result in getting stuck on the setup screen.
Please try the following steps.
- Open the terminal app (using spotlight search) and copy and paste this command:
tccutil reset Camera com.filtersoftware.filteronme.CameraExtension
Press Enter, you should see a message saying "Successfully reset ..."
- Open Filteronme
- With Filteronme open, go to the top left corner menu and click on Advanced, go to Uninstall Extension
- Reboot your computer and try setup again. Remember to click Allow when the camera extension ask for permissions:
Still not working? Try changing the camera in the app:
Sometimes changing cameras & changing it back to the camera you want can "reset" the camera extension.
